The train was a big part of Oxford since its arrival in the 1800s. The depot once had 29 trains a day passing by. Much of the rail right-of-way has been converted trails and the depot returned to community service in the fall of 2003 as a multipurpose facility with space for groups of people for meetings, lectures, and other events.
